Reliant Contact Management System

Myself and another designer partnered with Reliant, a Christian mission agency, in conjunction with our capstone semesters for our Masters at Indiana University.

Timeline

  • Spring 2020: Literature Review, Competitive Research, Field Research, Analysis, and Initial Concepts

  • Fall 2020: More Concepting, Lo-fi Prototypes, Hi-fi Prototypes, Usability Study, and Tasks Analysis

Throughout the process we met with our Reliant stakeholders biweekly to review and approve work.

Challenge

  • Allow support-raisers to get up-and-running as quickly as possible

  • Enable fluid contact management

  • Break down large tasks into a manageable set of actionable steps

  • Help support-raisers to manage relationships with their supporters

  • Practically integrate with existing systems and maximize value vs overall engineering effort

 

Personas

Our research surfaced two personas. The biggest difference between them was the amount of time they were fundraising for.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities were divided evenly between the other designer and myself. One of us would take lead on one aspect and the other would back them up, then we would switch on the next assignment.
