I consulted with the Angie’s List marketing team for over a year, lending expertise when it came to their customer web and email experiences.
Every week the Salesforce team met at Angie’s List HQ. We would go over different project statuses, suggest new ideas, and present to executive stakeholders.
In our largest project, I assessed their email program and created a library of components that would allow them to send promotional, newsletter, event, and sale messages to their customers.
Hands-on workshop
I turned our weekly on-site meeting into a hands-on workshop, leading the team through the different ways they could utilize their components in a tactile way. The team arrange different types of communications using tape and a whiteboard.
The impact
The component library unified the customer experience and cut down on time-to-production significantly. An email I later designed using this component library landed on ReallyGoodEmails.com. Check it out!
